Russian for English speakers

Russian makes more sense than you think

Learn Russian to really communicate, understand how the language works and speak with more confidence from day one

Aleksandra, native Russian teacher

Hi, I’m Aleksandra

I’m a native Russian teacher, and I help English speakers learn my language in a way that’s clear, practical and natural

I know Russian can look intimidating at first: a different alphabet, cases, verbs and plenty of rules that rarely make sense when you just memorize them

That’s why my lessons aren’t about endless word lists or repeating rules you don’t understand. They’re about seeing how the language works, connecting the pieces and starting to use it in real situations

My goal is that you understand more and more, need translation less and less, and feel able to say what you mean in Russian, in your own words

Warmly,

Aleksandra

my method

You don’t have to memorize everything to start speaking Russian

In my lessons every rule has a purpose, and every exercise helps you use the language in real life

1

See the logic of Russian

I explain grammar clearly, with examples and comparisons that help you understand why something is said, not just how to say it

2

Use what you learn

We practice with dialogues, everyday situations and speaking exercises, so Russian leaves the notebook and enters your conversations

3

Learn with your goals in mind

Lessons are adapted to your level, your pace and your needs: talking with your partner, travelling, working, or simply enjoying a new language

4

Move step by step

We build a solid base and add a little at a time, so you can see how far you’ve come and feel more confident

questions

Before you message me

In case you have any doubts

No. You can start from zero: we begin with the alphabet and move step by step. If you’ve studied before, we start from what you already know

Yes, and I’ll guide you through it. I don’t write Russian in Latin letters: you learn to read Cyrillic from the very beginning, because it’s the foundation for understanding how the language sounds and works

That’s very common. We organize what you already know, clear up your doubts and practice so you start using it in real conversations

It depends on your starting point, your goal and how much you practice between lessons. I don’t promise magic timelines: I give you a clear path so you notice your progress from the start

Yes. I explain in English and adapt the explanations to your native language, so you understand the why behind everything

Message me on WhatsApp. Tell me your level and why you want to learn Russian, and I’ll explain the options and the prices

your next step

Your Russian starts here

You don’t need to know it all before you begin. You just need to take the first step and find a way of learning that makes sense to you
